Succulent Prix-Fixe Brunch Served Every Week

Come celebrate the simple pleasure of Sunday morning in delicious style at 1818 with our sumptuous Plantation Brunch. Served every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Chef Varnedoe’s signature Upscale, Down-South menu changes weekly with fresh seasonal flavors—and our Bloody Mary Buffet is the best you’ll find outside New Orleans. Here’s a sample of just few of the sweet and savory surprises guests are likely to discover: New Orleans-style Barbecue Shrimp over Gouda Cheese Grits, Jambalaya Risotto with Grilled Chicken and a Creole cream sauce, Bacon-Stewed Collard Greens, Cream Cheese Blintz topped with Bananas Foster Sauce, and White Chocolate Bread Pudding with Praline Sauce. We also offer a special Children’s Buffet Menu for the pint-sized set on special occasions like Easter and Mother’s Day. Costs, excluding tax and gratuity, are: $32.00 per adult, $13.00 for children ages 7-13, and $8.00 for Children’s Buffet (ages 6 and under).

Farm-to-table Cuisine Begins On Our Grounds

Step outside from the Main House into our courtyard on any given spring or summer day, and the fragrance of mint, basil, and lavender laced with a little Confederate Jasmine will simply transport you. These are just a few of the aromatic herbs growing in our potager, composed in the classic French four-square style. The Chef’s Herb and Vegetable Gardens provide our kitchens with a daily supply of fresh produce such as herbs, carrots, heirloom tomatoes, crisp lettuce greens, cucumbers, spring peas, and more. Guests are invited to peruse our charming Chef’s Herb Garden daily as part of our Mint Julep Tour—the tour is open to everyone and begins at dusk. Tickets are $20 and no reservations are required.
